The story is entertaining, but lacks a certain depth. I knew where it was going from the beginning, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Getting to the predictability can be very entertaining, and few authors have done it well.

What I really didn't

Sondra's husband died, leaving her to fend for herself. When her only other friend, Miller, passes away, too, it's more than Sondra can take. But when Miller leaves her his cattle ranch, she can hardly believe how deeply she's been blessed.
