Brandilyn has always been my favorite author, but I don't generally like historical fiction and so I never read any of the Bradleyville series before. Color the Sidewalk for Me was SO GOOD. The characters were SO real, so well-developed,|From Publishers Weekly|In this excellent novel for the inspirational market, Collins uses her talent for suspense (Eyes of Elisha) in a more memoirlike tale that flashes back and forth between the 1960s and the 1990s as it explores a mother/daughter relationship
