There were no photographs of Natalie Clifford Barney or that life in Paris, France as an expatriate. Miss Barney had a led a more colorful life than the subject of the book itself. There are lots of writing in it but it lacks depth and emotion t| |At last, the legendary Ms. Barney can speak for herself in this country. We have written about her in all our books about Paris, but few have had access to her writing. A welcome addition to any library for expatriate literary Paris. --Noel Riley Fitch - autho
